Abstract

Background and Objectives: Background and Purpose: The aim of the present study was to investigate the opportunities of cyberspace on male and female students of the 10th and 11th grades of the second high school in the 3rd and 4th districts of Tabriz city..
MethodsThe statistical population of the present study was 15358 male and female students of the 10th and 11th grades of the second secondary school in districts 3 and 4 of Tabriz city. In this research, the statistical sample of 374 students was calculated by random sampling method using Cochran's formula. The data collection tool in this research was a researcher-made questionnaire with 26 items on a five-point Likert scale, the validity of which was confirmed based on exploratory factor analysis, and the reliability of the questionnaire was obtained based on Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.94. . Findings: The results of the research showed that the opportunities of virtual space in learning environments for students include improving the teaching-learning process, strengthening belief bases, recognizing limitations and helping to socialize and adapt.
Conclusion: It can be concluded that virtual space provides countless opportunities in the learning environment for students
