Students’ interest in a subject and their level of learning are influenced by various factors, among which the teaching method is considered one of the most important. This method takes individual differences into account and allows each student to learn in a flexible environment at their own pace under the guidance of the teacher. Furthermore, art is a vital component of the curriculum, playing a significant role in enhancing logical thinking, decision-making skills, self-confidence, and creativity. Implementing the flipped classroom approach can provide an appropriate opportunity to increase students’ interest and improve their learning outcomes in art classes. The research method was semi-experimental and socio-statistical, and the sample was 20 students in the second grade of primary school studying in the academic year 2023-2024. The statistical sample was 20 students who were randomly selected into two groups and trained for 11 sessions. The research collection tools were a questionnaire on interest in the subject and a researcher-made performance test. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the internal consistency method and its reliability was 0.96. Also, the content validity of the performance test was 0.78 and its reliability was 0.90 with the test-retest method. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the dataFindings: The findings of the study showed that the flipped approach was effective on students' learning rate (F=8.89) and overall interest score in the lesson (F=14.35) at a significance level of 0.05Conclusion: Flipped teaching has a positive effect on learning and interest in art lessons
